Hello, I am 33 years old female. My child is 4 years old. Iron is necessary to make hemoglobin, which carries oxygen in red blood cells to all parts of the body. Iron also supports proper neurological development during infancy and early childhood. I want to give a full nutritious diet to my child. What food I should include in my child’s diet that is rich in iron? How do I get more iron in my child's diet? Please share your ideas in the comments. Thanks!

@twaina Hello, Iron is essential for muscle metabolism, maintaining connective tissue, physical growth, and nerve development. The body absorbs iron better when you consume it with a source of vitamin C. To enable the body to absorb more iron, serve iron-rich foods alongside foods rich in vitamin C. Here a few foods that are rich in vitamin c you should include with iron are- orange juice and oranges, grapefruit, kiwifruit, broccoli, strawberries, and papaya
Food that is rich in iron-
Fortified irons, lean meat, beans, spinach, raisins and other dried fruit, Pumpkin seeds, eggs, and green peas. Thanks!
