Hello, I am 29 years old, female. My child is 4 months old. How long should I breastfeed him? I heard breastmilk is very beneficial for kids, but I want to know for how long I’ll have to give him breast milk? Please let me know in the comments.

@sonali Hello, you should breastfeed your child as long as it works for you. There are many women who breastfeed their kids for about 18 months and each of therm has it’s own benefits. Any amount of breastfeeding or breast milk that you can give to your child is beneficial. Breast milk still provides older children with additional nutrition for a complete, healthy diet. It also continues to provide antibodies and immune properties that help older children fight off infection, disease, and illness. Breastfeeding will continue to be beneficial for however long you breastfeed your baby. So, ultimately it's up to you to determine how long is too long as your child grows.
        Thanks!
