How can I reduce lower abdomen fat after C-section?
-
Hello, I am 34 years old, female. What should I do to lower abdomen fat? I have had a c-section three months back, since then I am gaining weight. My fat is usually in the lower abdomen. Is it normal after a C-section? Does it happen to everyone who has had given birth via C-section? Please suggest some ways to reduce lower abdomen fat after C-section.

@zehana Hello, it is normal to gain weight after giving birth through C-section. Here are a few things that you can do to reduce that lower abdomen fat. Get a Postnatal Massage (Massages help to break up belly fat and release fluids from the lymph nodes which can greatly help in weight loss post c section delivery. Lymphatic drainage can reduce swelling by removing fluids and waste products.
Body massages after a C-section boost blood flow and oxygen in yours. body, ensuring recovery and improving immunity. Furthermore, a body massage releases endorphins, which are natural painkillers, as well as oxytocin, which stimulates your breast milk supply. A postnatal massage is usually recommended after two weeks or until the scar has completely healed after a cesarean section delivery.
Breastfeed, exercise, do yoga, get enough sleep and eat healthily. Thanks!
