Hello, for the last few months I am having pain in my back, legs, and lower abdomen. I thought it was because of long hours of sitting but when test reports came doctor told me that I have gall stone. I never heard about it. I am confused. Please tell me what causes gall stone and What precaution does one need if he/she has gall stone?

@kajal Hello, Gallstones are hardened deposits of digestive fluid that can form in your gallbladder. The gallbladder is a small, pear-shaped organ on the right side of your abdomen, just beneath your liver. The gallbladder holds a digestive fluid called bile that's released into your small intestine. Here are a few causes of gall stone-

        • Gallstone forms when there is a critical concentration of cholesterol or bilirubin in the bile.
        • Doesn’t empty the bile juice
        • When you rapidly lose weight.
Gallstones cannot be prevented. However, you can decrease your risk factors by following healthy lifestyle tips. It is important to maintain a healthy weight through exercise and a balanced diet.
