Hello, I am 43 years old female. I got my period last week and I got a second dose of COVID-19 three days back. I again got my period today. I am confused how is this possible? Is it normal to have a period after the covid vaccine? Even though I got my menstrual cycle a week before the vaccine? Is there anyone who also experienced the same? Is it normal or should I be worried?

@hiana Hello, ma’am I think you should consult a doctor as the vaccine may or may not affect the menstrual cycle. According to a few studies, it may affect the menstrual cycle. It is better to visit a doctor as at the age of 43 it could be a symptom of perimenopause or menopause. It could be a symptom of chronic diseases like thyroid. It would suggest taking the doctor’s advice. Thanks!
