I have this sharp pain for a couple of seconds. When I am sad or depressed I can't breathe and have sharp pain. I am only 16. What could be the cause of it?

Hi, If it's happening only when you are upset then what you are likely experiencing is a panic attack. If it happens more often, do see your doctor. Panic attacks are very frightening and quite uncomfortable. Try reducing your stress and slow your breathing when it happens. Your doctor and therapist can help you deal with your anxiety and panic attacks
