Hi, last week my husband coughing up blood. when we visited a doctor we came to know that he is diagnosed with stage 2 lung cancer. He never smoked even though he never smoked. How is this possible?

@minipaliwal Hi, Being a non-smoker doesn't mean that you will never have lung cancer or be resistant to lung cancer, 20% of lung cancer patients had never smoked. Non-smoker’s lung cancer is extremely similar to smoker's lung cancer.
There are some reasons found why people are diagnosed with lung cancer even though they have never smoked:
        . Family History
        . Radon Gas
        . Air Pollution
        . Secondhand Smoke
Non-smokers can avoid risk factors for lung cancer by adopting certain lifestyle modifications to help minimize their risk
