Techniques to stop binge eating.
Hello, I am 18 years old female. I have been binge eating since the lockdown has started. I gained more than 10kgs since lockdown. I am worried now as I have the craving and want to eat even when I am not hungry. I tried to control myself but I was unable. Earlier I thought I might have thyroid but my blood report was normal. Please suggest some techniques that will help me to overcome/stop binge eating.

- You can try fasting- Fasting or eliminating certain foods from your diet may be associated with increased cravings and overeating. Focus on eating healthy foods instead of dieting or cutting out certain foods completely.
- Practice mindfulness
- Stay hydrated
- Exercise or you can try yoga
- Try to eat more fiber
- Get enough sleep
- Talk to close ones
- Increase your protein intake
- Take Cognitive behavioral therapy- It is very helpful in treating binge eating disorders.
