Hello, is HIV genetic. If a woman gets HIV while being pregnant or has HIV then will it be transmitted to her baby? Is her a baby at a higher risk of getting HIV virus? Please let me know in the comments. Thanks!

@rehan Hello, Yes, it's possible for HIV to be passed from a woman to her baby. It can be transmitted during pregnancy, during labor, and birth, through breastfeeding. If a woman undergoing HIV treatment doesn’t breastfeed her baby then she reduces the risk of transmitting HIV to her baby. Thanks
