If you have a heart attack while sleeping do you experience any pain?

Hi, two days back my friend passed away due to a silent heart attack. She had mild symptoms like shortness of breath and pain in the chest. The next morning we came to know that she had a silent heart attack and passed away. I was curious to know if a person experiences the same pain as in heart attack or is it different?
