Food to eat with psoriasis
-
Hello, I am 32 years old male. For the last few months I had an itchy scalp I thought itching in the scalp might be because of dandruff I had at that time but later my elbow also started itching then I thought I should talk to my dermatologist. I am on medication since last month and my itching reduced. I read food that we consume also affects our condition. I wanted to know what should I eat and what should I avoid if I have psoriasis? Please suggest food that I need to include in my diet. Thank You!

@laisy Psoriasis is an auto-immune skin disorder. The high-calorie foods that can lead to weight gain and increase the risk for obesity, diabetes, and heart disease are also inflammatory. There are several categories of inflammatory foods that can make psoriasis symptoms worse. They should be avoided. Food like Alcohol, dairy, refined carbohydrates, saturated and trans fats, and gluten. You should include foods like fruits and vegetables, turmeric, fish, lean protein, or plant-based proteins such as tofu or tempeh, and Olive oil. Thanks
