Hello, I sometimes have issues like bloating, indigestions but I always burp. My burp is constant after I eat anything and it is more frequent after having dinner. Is it normal to burp after dinner or eat something? Is it a thing to worry about? What is the reason behind burping? I am 22 years old male.

@rohan-0 Hello, it is normal to burp but if it happens frequently then this could be the symptom of some health complication. The reason behind burping after food is When you swallow your food, it goes through a tube called your esophagus and into your stomach. There your body uses acid, bacteria, and chemicals called enzymes to break it down into nutrients it uses for energy. If you swallow air along with your food or if you drink something like a soda or beer that has bubbles in it, those gases can come back up through your esophagus. That's a burp. It is caused by Carbonated beverages and swallowing air are the most common reasons people burp. Try to eat or drink more slowly. You're less likely to swallow air. Thanks!
