Hello, Ganglion cysts are lumps and are noncancerous lumps that most commonly develop along with the tendons or joints of your wrists or hands. They also may occur in the ankles and feet. A ganglion cyst starts when the fluid leaks out of a joint or tendon tunnel and forms a swelling beneath the skin. The cause of the leak is generally unknown but may be due to trauma. Please tell us what are the different types of ganglion cysts and how can common are they?
