Saliva substitutes and stimulants for dry mouth.
It's normal to occasionally have a dry mouth but persistent dry mouth could be the symptom of an underlying health condition. dry mouth can occur when the salivary glands in your mouth don't produce enough saliva. I tried a few things at home by myself but didn’t see any difference. Are there any saliva substitutes for dry mouth that I can try?
@paull Hello, using an artificial saliva substitute to keep your mouth moist. This may come in the form of a spray, gel, or lozenge. Use it as often as you need to, including before and during meals. A saliva substitute, or saliva replacement product, replaces natural saliva. a saliva stimulant increases the natural production of saliva. Please talk to your dentist before using any substitutes. Along with saliva substitutes maintain good oral hygiene. Thanks.
