What causes Acute urinary retention (AUR)?
-
Acute urinary retention is an inability to pass urine. which subsequently leads to pain and discomfort, with significant residual volumes. Acute urinary retention (AUR) is most prevalent in older males. Some males pass small quantities of urine, however, still have significant residual volumes and ongoing discomfort. Can anyone tell me what causes Acute urinary retention in males? What should one do to prevent it?
