Hello, I am 44 years old female. My husband is suffering from jaundice. He is suffering from Jaundice since last week. What we eat and drink has a direct impact on our liver function. Eating a healthy diet allows our liver to work more efficiently and clear excess toxins from our bodies. Please suggest some fruits that I should include in his diet.

@aileen-0 Hello, while selecting fruits during jaundice, one should always choose fruits like papaya and mango that are high in fruit enzymes. Natural enzymes will help in the reduction in bilirubin. Include pineapple, orange, honey, grapefruit, avocado, grapes, mustard greens, and Brussel sprouts. Jaundice is caused by a buildup of bilirubin in the blood. A healthy, well-balanced diet can help alleviate jaundice and prevent its recurrence. Thank You.
