      Hello, My grandmother is suffering from dysphagia, and she is having trouble swallowing food. She can swallow the liquid, but not food. She even lost a lot of weight as she is not taking a proper diet. Furthermore, she experienced a choking sensation every time she tries to eat. Please should how can we prepare food for her. How to prepare food for dysphagia patients?

        @fernanda Hello, puréed food is the best way to give them food as you said she can take liquids without any complication. Talk to your doctor, Your health care team may recommend that you follow a puréed diet for dysphagia. Puréed foods do not need chewing. They are completely smooth with no lumps, skins, strings, or seeds. You can purée other foods using a blender or food processor. Thank You!
