Hormone therapy has also been proved to prevent bone loss and reduce fractures in postmenopausal women. According to studies there are risks associated with using hormone therapy. These risks depend on the type of hormone therapy. Can anyone tell me there many types of hormonal replacement therapy?

One comes in the form of a pill, skin patch, ring, gel, cream, or spray. Pills are 1 of the most common forms of HRT. They are usually taken once a day. Skin patches are also common, skin patches are stuck to your skin and replaced every few days. Oestrogen gel is rubbed onto the skin once a day.
The second type of hormone replacement therapy is Low-dose vaginal preparations of estrogen-like Vaginal estrogen and Testosterone. They are present in the form of cream, tablet, or ring form minimizing the amount of estrogen absorbed by the body.
