Hello, I am 22 years old female. I have random body pain it usually happens after sitting in a room with a low temperature. I also experience lower back pain in the morning after waking up and stiffness in the body. Is it common to experience body stiffness after sitting in a room with AC or cooler? If it is common can anyone explain to me why it happens?

@caitlin-0 Hello, Yes it can cause body stiffness, and pain in the joints, if you are sensitive to cold temperature. Low temperature can lead to muscle contractions, headaches, and backaches. When your body stays in temperatures that are below its liking, it develops pain in the joints and muscles. Cold weather causes muscles to lose more heat and contract, causing tightness throughout the body. Joints get tighter, muscles can lose their range of motion If the situation gets severe, such pains can develop into arthritis.
