Hello, many women take Hormone replacement therapy during menopause as the symptoms they have are severe. Before and during menopause, the levels of female hormones can go up and down. This can cause symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, pain during sex, and vaginal dryness. menopausal hormone therapy, to relieve these symptoms but I heard these therapies like HRT can cause future complications. Are there any risks associated with hormone replacement therapy?

@paige-0 Hello, yes hormone replacement therapy is helpful in managing menopausal symptoms. HRT can help prevent thinning of the bones, and osteoporosis. osteoporosis is more common after menopause. The risk associated with HRT is equal. In women, hormone therapy may increase their chances of getting blood clots, heart attacks, strokes, breast cancer, and gallbladder cancer. If you are thinking about getting HRT done then discuss risks and benefits associated with it with your doctor. Thank You.
