Hepatitis C causes liver inflammation, sometimes leading to serious liver damage. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) spreads through contaminated blood. Chronic hepatitis C damages the liver. It causes Bleeding, Bruising, Fatigue, Poor appetite, Itchy skin, Confusion, drowsiness, and slurred speech. In most cases, an acute infection will develop into a long-term ‘chronic’ infection and will eventually lead to liver damage. Is hepatitis C curable?

@malte Hello, Yes hepatitis C is curable. It is treated through antiviral medications and liver transplantation. Hepatitis C infection is treated with antiviral medications intended to clear the virus from your body. Chronic HCV is usually curable with oral medications taken every day for two to six months.
