@ridas Hello, bacterial vaginosis caused by lactobacilli. It is a normal vaginal microbiota that helps maintain a healthy mucosal barrier essential for normal reproductive function and the prevention of sexually transmitted infections and gynecologic cancer but an imbalance in lactobacilli can cause bacterial vaginosis. Feminine hygiene products can cause certain side effects. Washing your vulva with mild, unscented soap or just plain water is the healthiest way to clean your genitals. Vaginitis develops more quickly when your vulva is moist, so keep your genital area as dry as possible. You can prevent this by not using scented soap, pads, tampons, and don’t douche. Thanks.
