@beccie Hello, stroke care involves the five links- symptom recognition, Timely EMS response, transporting and notifying the stroke center, Guideline-based stroke care, and Quality post-stroke care. 8Ds of stroke care involves Detection (Rapid recognition of stroke symptoms), Dispatch (Early activation and dispatch of EMS), Delivery (Rapid EMS identification, management, and transport), Door (arrival of a patient), Data (Rapid triage, evaluation, and management in ED), Decision (Stroke expertise and therapy selection), Drug/Device, and Disposition (Rapid admission to the stroke unit).
