        @florin Hello, lifestyles play a major role in increasing the rate of strokes in adults. stroke in younger adults is less common, and the pathogenesis of stroke in younger adults requires consideration of several less common risk factors. Lifestyle risk factors including smoking, physical inactivity, poor diet, heavy or heavy-episodic alcohol consumption, and illicit drug use (eg, amphetamines, cocaine, and heroin) all increase the risk for stroke. Physical inactivity, hypertension, episodic heavy alcohol consumption, and smoking were the most important risk factors for stroke in their study of adults aged 18 to 55 years.
