Hello, can sugar drinks increase the risk of cancer? There are about 15 packets of sugar in one bottle of soft drink. so regular consumption of soft drinks results in an abnormally high sugar intake. There have also been claims that chemicals in soft drinks can increase cancer risk. While some studies have detected very low levels of chemicals such as benzene and 4-methylimidazole (4-Mel) in certain soft drinks. Sugary drinks are already known to cause obesity, which greatly increases the risk of 13 types of cancer.

@banji Cancer is just one of many chronic health conditions associated with sugary drink consumption – including increased risk of type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and tooth decay. Even people who were not overweight had an increased risk if they regularly drank soft drinks. . Good diet, exercise, and maintaining a healthy body weight are the ways to reduce the risk of cancer and other chronic conditions.
