Pregnancy hemorrhoids treatment
-
Hemorrhoids are simply veins inside or outside of your anus that has become large and swollen. My wife is in her third trimester and she develop hemorrhoids. According to doctors, it is common during pregnancy due to increased blood volume, leading to larger veins, pressure on veins near your anus from the baby and her growing uterus, changing hormones, and constipation. I know it happens but she is in trouble, Her doctor prescribed her medicine still they are not effective. Please suggest what treatment will be effective in treating it?

@yasir Hello, You can try many home remedies and lifestyle modifications to reduce hemorrhoids. Untreated hemorrhoids may get worse with time and cause complications such as increased pain or, in rare cases, anemia from bleeding. Ask her to use gentle, flushable wipes while having a bowel movement, Hold an ice pack on the area for a few minutes several times a day, Move around frequently and try not to sit for too long to avoid extra pressure on her anus, and ask her to drink a lot of water. Ask her doctor to prescribe cream ointment. Thanks!
