Is heart attack different from heart failure?
Heart failure is different from a heart attack. Both the conditions are life-threatening. Yet they both have some common symptoms like difficulty breathing, nausea, and pain. Please let me know what causes heart failure and heart attack? What is the difference between the two? What are the early signs of heart failure?
@florin A heart attack happens when blood flow is blocked in one of the vessels that supply the heart itself. Heart failure is a malfunction in the heart that prevents the heart muscle from filling or pumping blood well enough to keep the body working properly. There are common causes of heart failure. The most common is heart damage after a heart attack or due to coronary artery disease. Other risks include High blood pressure, Heart valve problems, Alcohol and drug abuse, diabetes, and high cholesterol. Early signs to look for heart failure are- Feeling tired or without energy is a common symptom of a heart that isn’t pumping enough blood to the body, congestion, ankle swelling, and shortness of breath.
