Is brain fog linked to deficiency? I did some research about brain fog and it causes memory problems, a lack of mental clarity, poor concentration, and an inability to focus. I am 18 years old female. I am having a hard time in concentrating. I am not going through any kind of stress, nor I am taking any medication. I read in an article that brain fog is caused due to stress, sleep changes, and medications, and it was mentioned that it was related to other factors like deficiency but what deficiency it wasn’t mentioned. Please let me know Which deficiency is linked to brain fog?

@frederica Hello, Some research suggests that certain supplements may be helpful for those experiencing brain fog symptoms.

        • Low vitamin D levels may be linked to brain fog symptoms. Supplementation may help improve memory, concentration, and mood in some people, which may help alleviate brain fog.
        • Having low magnesium levels may negatively affect brain health.
        • Low levels of certain B vitamins may worsen symptoms of brain fog. vitamin B12 deficiency can bring about brain fog
        • Brain fog has many possible causes, some of which are serious. Please contact a healthcare provider. Thanks.
