Hello, should give a hair transplant a try? Are there any risks associated with it? I am 30 years old male. I have had to suffer from hair loss since I was 20 years old. I am thinking about getting a hair transplant, I would like to know all the risks involved in getting a hair transplant. Please let me know if there is any risk in getting a hair transplant? Thank You.

@mayes-0 Hello, the Possible risk of hair transplantation is similar to any other surgical procedure. Hair transplantation is usually regarded as safe. You may experience pain, swelling, and inflammation of the scalp for a minute, hours, or only for a few days after the procedure. This is a common side effect of surgery during the initial recovery period, and you don’t need to worry. There are two different hair transplant procedures. Both procedures involve the surgeon cleaning the scalp, injecting anesthetics, and then proceeding with either of the two methods: Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE), Follicular unit transplantation (FUT), also called Follicular Unit Strip Surgery (FUSS). Please talk to your dermatologist to know which one will be better. Thanks!
