Hello, please suggest what can I do to get relief from the pain after knee replacement surgery. Every time I take pain killer I get relief but I can’t take painkillers every time. I am 55 years old male. The pain increases at night. Please suggest remedies that will help in relieving pain at night. I talked to the doctor he said it will take time to heal.

@marzia Hello, Having some pain, swelling, and bruising is a normal part of the recovery process. Applying topical creams and patches to the knee can also help reduce pain and make it easier for you to sleep at night. These usually include active ingredients such as capsaicin, menthol, or salicylates. People commonly use these ingredients on the skin to ease pain. Please discuss this issue with your doctor. Thanks!
