Hello, My 3 years old daughter has rashes around her mouth. has had a rash on lips and around the mouth for more than a week, it comes and goes in severity but is always there faintly at least and then sometimes glares up. She doesn’t experience itching or pain. Any idea what this could be? Do I need to be worried?

@solace Hello, my 4-year-old son gets this as well. I took him to the doctor, he said it is Perioral dermatitis. Perioral dermatitis is an acne-like problem commonly seen around the mouth in children. They develop small pink bumps around the mouth and sometimes around the nose and eyes. The rash may be mildly itchy and it may come and go over time. Take her to the doctor. Thanks!
