Hello, I am 18 years old male. Drank heavily for 3 years, with the drinking getting worse and worse. on an average day, I’ll probably drink a bottle of vodka, a four-peg of whisky, and sometimes more. On weekends I can easily end up drinking a lot more. I tried a lot to stop but my happiness is totally dependent on alcohol, even the next day I am shaky, and sweating. Has anyone been here, or worse, and how are you now, what helped you? Please suggest ways that can help me too. Thank You.

@klay Hello, Please see a doctor. He/she should be able to help you decide whether it is best for you to cut back or abstain. People who are dependent on alcohol, or have other medical or mental health problems, should stop drinking completely. Cutting down on your drinking may not always be easy. Let friends and family members know that you need their support. Your doctor, counselor, or therapist may also be able to offer help.
