Hair loss in 20 years old boy due to diabetes. Is there any way to reverse Diabetic hairloss?
-
I'm only 20 years old, and my hair is of course a big deal right now. I have had Type 1 Diabetes for about 7 years now. I have never really been in perfect control, and since I've had the Insulin Pump, I've been a lot worse about it. And I think I'm starting to see some very bad side effects. Like almost fainting with lows, getting extremely agitated and furious when high, and I've started to see my hair leave me at a significant speed. Please let me know if anyone can help me? Is there any way to reverse Diabetic hair loss? If yes, then please let me know in the comments. Thanks!

@anu-0 Hello, diabetic management, proper nutrition, and minerals and vitamins will go a long way in the improvement of your hair condition. The most important thing is to get your thyroid studies done. Hypothyroidism can lead to dry skin and listless hair. Stress control is a must and you should think positively and do outdoor workouts like walking, gyming, etc. My suggestion would be to consult a doctor, eat nutritious food, and exercise. Thanks!
