Itching around the genital area in summer.

Hello, I am 24 years old male. I am having itching issues around my genital area. It began off in my inner thigh and the right side of my genitals. mostly I seem this problem in the summer. On my right side of the thigh and genital area, my skin is very thinly removed and when I cannot use soap in this area because it gets very irritating, because of this I stopped wearing underwear. I also shaved my pubic hair but it didn't seem to have much of an effect. Can you please give me a solution for this and which medicine will be effective? What should I do?

@kent Hello, please visit a doctor. It seems like you have Fungal infections of the groin. Fungal infections of the groin are common. Obesity, excess perspiration, and high humidity are common causes precipitating the infection. This responds well to the application of Clotrimazole creme like Canesten with twice-daily applications. Tight inner clothing has to be avoided. Clothing should be dry when worn. For prevention antifungal powders like candid powder can be applied. Sometimes seborrheic dermatitis, a form of dandruff can be mistaken for fungus. So, it is better to consult a doctor. Thanks!
