What can be the cause of flushed face?

Hello, Since the age of 14 I had increasing problems with a hot face. At any time, for no reason anyone can determine, my face will become overly flushed, and burning, and on terrible days will sweat profusely. The heat is centered high on my cheeks, around his nose and sinus areas. It can be caused by certain foods (which change all the time), high or low stress, in or out of public, or warm or cold weather. The only definite time we have found it to be the worst is when I come down with a cold. I no longer go out in public for fear of things flaring up. Can anyone help me with this? Please let me know What can be the cause of a flushed face?

@nan-0 Hello, Flushed skin is a common physical response to anxiety, stress, embarrassment, anger, or another extreme emotional state. Facial flushing is usually more of a social worry than a medical concern. However, flushing can result from an underlying medical issue, such as Cushing syndrome or a niacin overdose. Flushing may be due to many causes. Tyramine in alcoholic drinks, food additives, gustatory flushing( related to foods), anxiety states, drugs, rosacea, and rarely serotonin secreting tumors called carcinoids. Most cases of carcinoid would present with flushing and diarrhea. Dry flushing is commoner ie without sweating. 5-HIAA testing of urine would be helpful to rule out this condition.
