White bump on the clitoris. What this can be?
-
Hello, Hi I am 19 years old and I am not sexually active; however, I have noticed recently that I have a white bump directly on my clitoris. I had thought it was a cyst but it has not come to a head and when I tried to pop it because I thought it was a pimple I felt extreme pain as if someone had kicked me on my clitoris. There is no itch and discharge is normal. This white bump makes me rather uneasy and I feel like it could be abnormal since it wasn't always there. I was wondering if anyone knew what this could be?

@aia Hello, my recommendation would see Gynecologist. Bumps and lumps on your vagina and vulva can be normal, or they could be a sign of a condition that requires medical attention. The white bumps could be Fordyce spots or sebaceous glands, which are small white or yellow-white bumps inside your vulva. These spots are also found on the lips and cheeks. They normally first appear during puberty, and you tend to get more of them as you age. Fordyce spots are painless and not harmful. You will examine and confirm what it could be. Thanks!
