      Hi all,

Every month in the week before my period is due i develop tooth ache. Always the same side / tooth. Once my period has finished the toothache goes.

Also in the week before my period one of my arm pits "puffs" up!! No lumps that i can feel just a puffiness.

I also feel hotter in the week leading up to my period. Can all these symptoms be due to Peri?

@lipika I would say yes that these symptoms can be caused by hormones. I have a wisdom tooth that can be painful in the lead-up to a period that then settles. Our breast tissue does extend into the armpit and my left armpit in particular can become tender. Do get this checked out if it continues for reassurance if nothing else. But as you say it only happens before a period it seems unlikely to be anything serious. As our hormones fluctuate it affects our hypothalamus, which controls body temperature. This can cause hot flushes, and night sweats, and some women even experience chills. Problems with the thyroid can also cause issues with this.
