Hey, I am an 18-year-old female. I just passed a fleshy-looking blood clot. Flesh-like on the outside feels like a rare steak in toughness, bloody on the inside. It appears to have a hole, and the tissue I set it on is lightly soaked with blood. The clot is more giant. I know I was not pregnant I am on birth control and have had a period every month since then. Please help!!

@noelle Hello, Menstrual flow is made up of various types of tissue, including blood as the uterus cleans itself naturally when pregnancy does not occur. This would be normal and clotting just means that the blood pooled for a while before it was eliminated from the body. Don't worry about this. Please see your personal health care provider for further evaluation if experience other symptoms. Thanks!!
