When are urinalysis and urine cultures indicated in the diagnosis of tuberculosis (TB)?

@yamaha Urinalysis and urine cultures can be obtained for patients with genitourinary complaints. Although patients are often asymptomatic, significant pyuria and/or hematuria with no routine bacterial organisms mean that a urine culture for acid-fast bacilli should be obtained.
