Hello, I am 40 years old male. My knee has been in pain on the right side of my right knee. The pain is close to the knee cap, but not quite on it. It mostly hurts when I am walking, bending it, or putting pressure on it. What could it be? and what can I do?

@rashida Hello, Aging causes your tendons to lose some elasticity, which can lead to not only stiffness and inflammation, but a higher risk of injury. And it is more common in adults over 40. Less common conditions that can cause sore joints include gout, fibromyalgia, lupus, hypothyroidism, or even Lyme disease. Your diet can help prevent knee pain before and after you exercise if you get the right nutrients. Your knee joints and your bones rely on vitamin D and calcium to stay strong. Magnesium and vitamin A are good nutrients to obtain as well. It is better to consult a doctor. Thanks!
