Hello, I tested negative for the COVID-19 test. I am having difficulty in breathing. I have nasal and chest congestion issues. The symptoms I developed were similar to the COVID-19 but my test report was negative. Medicines prescribed by my doctor made my condition better. Please suggest some effective remedies for quick recovery and how can I get rid of it? Thanks.

@bany Hey, you did the right thing by taking the COVID-19 test. Phlegm is a type of mucus produced in the lungs and lower respiratory tract. Mucus forms a protective lining in certain parts of the body, even when a person is well. Mucus keeps these areas from drying out and helps to defend against invaders, including viruses and bacteria. chest congestion is caused by the same virus as cold, runny nose, and sore throat. Chest congestion is the result of inflamed air passages, or bronchi, in the lungs. You can try things like Taking a hot shower and breathing in the steam to ease congestion, Using a humidifier, keeping the head elevated, Not suppressing a cough, and drinking plenty of fluids. See a doctor if the problem is severe, persistent, or does not improve with rest and home remedies. Thanks!
