Hello, I have been experiencing this for the last few months. I feel as if anything is stuck under my right rib. went to see my doctor. They did blood work, and urine labs and sent me for an ultrasound of my gallbladder, all came back normal. I have no other symptoms like nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, etc. just this feeling like something is there. It seemed to go away on its own and then came back and has come and gone since sometimes lasting a few days, sometimes a few weeks. Does it sound like IBS? or anything else?

@shyn Hi, it sounds like a hiatal hernia. A hiatal hernia occurs when the upper part of your stomach bulges through your diaphragm into your chest cavity. A hiatal hernia occurs when the upper part of your stomach bulges through the large muscle separating your abdomen and chest. The most common cause of a hiatal hernia is an increase in pressure in the abdominal cavity. Your abdominal cavity is the space in the middle of your body that holds several organs, including the: Lower part of the esophagus and stomach. The small intestine, colon, and rectum. You should take a second opinion from a doctor. Thanks.
