Hello, I think I might have arthritis. I am a 33-year-old male. My foot has started hurting for some time now whenever I walk. My orthopedic doctor ruled it out and said it might be a vitamin d deficiency. I want to get a second opinion and I feel my other symptoms lean towards arthritis. Can anyone suggest what blood tests and other tests are required for to effectively diagnose arthritis?

@rumani Hello, There are more than 100 different types of arthritis. Many symptoms are similar among the different conditions affecting the joints. Arthritis may be generally categorized into the following groups: degenerative arthritis, inflammatory arthritis, metabolic arthritis, and infectious arthritis. Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis are most common. There are so many different tests and types of arthritis. To make an accurate diagnosis, a healthcare provider may need to: Review your medical history and current symptoms, Examine you, and pay close attention to your joints, and laboratory tests, X-rays, and other imaging tests.
