Hello, I am 22 years old female. I have been suffering from pain in the neck, neck stiffness and cracking, muscle pains, and also every time I move there is a sound of joint cracking. I consulted a doctor. My tests were normal but my vitamin D level was too low. I am in shock. can vitamin D deficiency cause so many serious health issues? Should I consult a different doctor to take a different opinion?

@priti Hello, yes. A vitamin D deficiency can affect both physical and mental health, but many people have low levels of vitamin D without realizing it. The physical symptoms of a deficiency may include muscle pain in the joints, including rheumatoid arthritis (RA) pain, which often occurs in the knees, legs, and hips. Also, Cracking knees and joints are sometimes caused by vitamin D and calcium deficiency, and sometimes dehydration. Yes, you can always go for second opinion. Thanks!
