@laina Currently, most cases of prostate cancer are identified by screening in asymptomatic men. Digital rectal examination (DRE) and prostate-specific antigen (PSA) evaluation are the two components used in prostate cancer screening. Transrectal ultrasonography (TRUS) has been associated with a high false-positive rate, making it unsuitable as a screening tool, but it has an established role in directing prostatic biopsies.
