Hello, I need your help. I am currently in my first trimester. I am a type-1 diabetic. Can anyone tell me How often should I get tested? I was a bit overweight a few years back but managed to lose some weight. Please let me know in the comments how often should I get tested?

@azia Hello, once per trimester during pregnancy or more frequently as recommended by the health care provider. Ideally, the goal is for the A1C to be at or near normal (6 percent or average blood glucose of 120 mg/dL [6.7 mmol/L]). A dietitian can also help you learn how to control your blood sugar while you are pregnant. Exercise is another way to keep blood sugar under control. It helps to balance food intake. After checking with your doctor, you can exercise regularly before, during, and after pregnancy. Thanks!
