Hello, After I get my gall bladder removed, is there anything I need to change about what I eat? I am 43 years old female. I got my gallbladder removed a month back. Do I need to change anything in my diet? If yes, then what? Please feel free to give your suggestions. Thanks!!

@itlin Hello, Eating the wrong food after gallbladder surgery can induce pain, bloating, and diarrhea. People who have had gallbladder removal surgery should avoid certain foods, including:

        • fatty, greasy, or fried foods.
        • spicy food.
        • refined sugar.
        • caffeine, which is often in tea, coffee, chocolate, and energy drinks.
        • alcoholic drinks, including beer, wine, and spirits.
        • carbonated beverages.
Foods to Eat After You Have Your Gallbladder Removed
Low-fat, 1%, or fat-free dairy products. Fluids. Diarrhea can drain your body of vitamins, minerals, and fluids, so it's crucial to stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water, broth, and sports drinks. Thanks!!
