Can anyone tell me how exercise impacts one's mental health? I feel like I lost everything. I am taking therapy and my therapist asked me to change my lifestyle like I should include exercise in my daily routine. I don’t want to join the gym. What can I do? How are they related? Thank You for replying.

@omee Hello, Exercise improves mental health by reducing anxiety, depression, and negative mood and by improving self-esteem and cognitive function. Exercise has also been found to alleviate symptoms such as low self-esteem and social withdrawal. whatever you are feeling I am glad you reach out to your doctor. It is true that physical health affects mental health. People who exercise regularly have better mental health and emotional well-being, and lower rates of mental illness. Exercise can improve your sense of control, coping ability, and self-esteem. People who exercise regularly often report how good achieving a goal makes them feel. Exercise increases your energy levels. If you don't feel like going to the gym then going for a leisurely walk, or activities like stretching and yoga can also have huge benefits on your mind and body. Exercise will give your mental health a boost. Thanks.
