I have had a dull achy pain in my underarms and across my shoulders, collarbone, and back. Sore tender breast!!!!

Hello, For the past 6 days I have had very sore tender breasts, the side of my breast underneath my armpit feels sore when pressed. I have had a dull achy pain in my underarms and across my shoulders, collarbone, and back. I feel like beads/grapes in texture as do parts of my breast. I have my period in the next two weeks. I have never had this before and was wondering what it could be?

@parnika Hello, Breast tenderness of acute onset is usually either due to impending menstrual period, use of birth control pills such as Microgynon, or some inflammatory process. The achiness you've been experiencing could be a part of this new premenstrual syndrome for you but possibly caused by two years of Microgynon. Again, if all this doesn't revolve around the time of your period or if your period fails to arrive, which also can happen with Microgynon)then by all means have yourself seen. Please follow up with your doctor.
