Various studies suggest that one shouldn't drink milk in the morning as it disturbs the fast metabolism process and it is recommended to drink milk before going to bed. I am a sportsperson whenever we talk about diet with my coaches they recommend drinking milk before bedtime so it will digest properly otherwise it will be harmful to your stomach and disturb your metabolism. What actually happens?

@zeen There’s no recommended time to drink milk to reap its general health benefits. According to Ayurvedic medicine, an alternative health system with roots in India, cow's milk should be consumed in the evening. This is because the Ayurvedic school of thought considers milk to be sleep-inducing and heavy to digest, making it unsuitable as a morning drink. It depends on what your purpose is for wanting to drink milk. And it depends on how old you are and what health issues you might have. And it depends on how much milk you plan on drinking. It is suggested Well, for one thing, digestion during sleep is a very slow process. And it has been said that digesting food during sleep can interfere with the restorative process that sleep is supposed to achieve. However, if you’re looking to lose weight or build muscle, studies suggest that drinking milk right after workouts is best. No research suggests that you should drink milk at a particular time to reap its benefits. Thanks!
